But Kimmel was not mocking his death or saying he deserved it. He was mocking MAGA.

That sums up so much of this - the majority on the right have horrible critical thinking skills and of course the Vance's and Thiel's of the world exploit moments like this to play dumb and act offended when they've been called out. Trump already alluded to going after Kimmel next over the summer. The history of right wing extremism is one big exercise in small dick energy that gets millions of people's lives ruined or worse.
