You practice at 4 AM?

haha - from a schedule of 5 morning and 2 practice options to a schedule of 4 morning and 3 evening practices per week.

Can you share league and division? 4am practice sounds insane to me for summer swim.

Y’all, she or he means four morning and two evening practices, not *4 am.* SMH

Primary rule for spelling out numbers is that small numbers (usually one through nine or ten, depending on the style guide) are written as words, while larger numbers are written as numerals. LOL

Why is this?
A meets are so much quicker and easier!

An example:

If club swimmer, maybe Friday AM practice - or club practice sometime that day

Friday afternoon summer practice followed by PM dinner / party; A meet swimmers need to attend these to be part of the team according to some posters

7/8am Saturday warmup for A meet

Lunch after A meets - finish that 1pm or so

(Sunday) - meets a couple Sundays for club swimmers during summer swim season

If club swimmer, maybe Monday - Thursday early AM practice

If kid is under certain age, then parents volunteering and/or involved and/or there in person for most or all summer swim activities

A Sunday free of all swim activities (summer & club) is a needed break for some (not all) of us

I think referring to an entire family by a class stratification based on a kid’s swim time is a great way to build group cohesiveness.
