I second reading these books and doing research as a parent this year and then getting kid involved junior year. Get familiar with the Common Data Sets from some of your initial schools of interest is very helpful. My second kid is a sophomore B student with ADHD and we will visit some of the Jesuit schools like Loyola MD, Loyola Chicago, St Joes amd Marquette. We aren't religious but friends with kids at these schools have had positive reviews about the supports.

Thank you. Someone just mentioned Marist college as well!

1. which state do you live in
2. is budget a consideration
3. what are your DD's strengths / Ecs and outside interests
4. Should she be far from home or close by?

Thank you. We live in DC. She is a fun, easy going kid that tolerate school and enjoys the social aspects the most. Closer to home is best - East Coast for sure. Outside interest include volunteering at our church 1x month and piano but not inside a school program. She is in her schools chorus but will not get national awards etc. It is more of a hobby.
