I’m the world’s biggest Costco fan and was recently accused of being a professional Costco blogger in another thread but I cannot understand the love for their apple pie. I think it’s awful. (Their cheesecake on the other hand…).

I don’t have a good suggestion but wegmans often has the best bakery items. If you can wait for the weekend, the farmers markets almost always have apple pies on sale.

IME, apple pie, like Mac and cheese, is very personal. Most people have a strong preference for what they grew up with. I personally find most store bought apple pies too gloppy but I know other people like that.

You probably have everything you need to just make one, OP. Do it!
