Chief security officer not horrible
Chief engagement officer isn’t that different from chief marketing officer
Chief equity officer well honestly I’m always fascinated by how much hate this one gets but whatever
Okay now maybe those salaries could be cut by 50% but i don’t know that. Certainly I’m not crapping myself over them existing they are what they are
Now could the people in those positions do a better job at times I’m quite sure they could but that’s not for me to decide

Please cite examples. I don't think the feds or the state demand positions that pay what FCPS is paying their "leaders."
New poster here:
-Virginia Literacy Act
-VDOE requires extensive monitoring of assessments and student progress
-Title 1 has extensive oversight and requires staffing for compliance

Prior to their tenures these positions, these positions did not exist.
“Chief Security Officer” - another useless 250k job. In addition to still having an “executive director” of security
“Chief Engagement Officer” for 250k
“Chief Equity Officer” for 250k
“Chief People Officer” for 250k in addition to retaining an almost equally highly paid “superintendent” of human officers
Increase the number of Executive Principals from 5 to 12!
A whole bunch more of paper pushing positions at Gatehouse marked “senior administrators” because Reid doesn’t have the courage to fire even the worst and most abusive principals like Thompson of Hayfield
She is taking and creating many new high paid positions for cronies to curry favor with admins spending millions of dollars that could be spent in the classrooms that she cuts from the budget, when these positions seem to have a lot of overlap with existing positions and don’t seem to add value especially compared to the leaner central staffing models of their predecessors.
She needs to be stopped.

How exactly? It's an unelected position.
The school board positions might as well be unelected as well given the voting behaviors of Fairfax county residents over the last 10 years, and they wholly support these moves.
I always see a lot of old people voting. They are voting Democrat, and they have no idea what is going on with FCPS. We need to talk to the old people and empty nesters in our neighborhoods and tell them what's going on.
Or just get FCDC to stop nominating idiots. If everyone who cared actually attended those nominating meetings, that might do something too.

Anonymous wrote:Classic election year trolling. You guys are so predictable and so obvious.
