I have the Braun and feel like everyone is either confused or exaggerating. They are very transparent that you need to do it once a week for 12 weeks to remove the hair and then once every few months for maintenance.

I did just invest in professional laser hair removal (with a Groupon, does anyone pay full price for these?), following several months with the Braun. I gave the Braun to my adult daughter, who really likes it but is up front about the maintenance required.

Just be careful if you have dark skin--Braun IPL doesn't work on dark skin tones.

It has worked on the pits - there are still a few little hairs but you’d have to look really closely to see them. But I cant imagine using it on my entire leg - the tip is just too small, it would take forever, and the battery doesn’t work that well so you’d have to recharge at least 2x if you really needed to get your entire leg. I’d pay for professional for that.

You plug it in while using. Is yours 10 years old?

oh wait, I have the Tria - the laser, not IPL. it works better than IPL but the nose is small.
