Bruh —it sounds to me lazy speech. I see it as an indicator of low intelligence.

Every time I read that I think the poster is too personally invested and thinks it's an actual close community of people. (Not usually seen on DCUM but other platforms/forums.)

When parents use the royal “we”

“We got onto the travel team!”

“We got a 1500 on the SATs”

“We got into Brown”

Yes. Also, he/she “passed.” They died. If you can’t use that word, at least use “passed away.”

Yep. My mother died four years ago, and for some reason it became really important to me to say dead and died, not passed away. Passed away sounds so peaceful and I know that is not how my mother died. She died in pain, alone and scared. Those feelings are bigger than "passed." You passed gas. You passed an ice cream store. He passed away peacefully in his sleep. My mother died.

If I go to a restaurant and there’s something on the menu like “Big Bob’s Platter” I can’t order it. Or anything like gravy, omg, terrible word. Oh, or, I went to a famous BBQ place recently and they asked me lean or moist, and I ordered lean because I just cannot say moist, even though I wanted moist. Today I went to Raising Cane’s and had to order from a guy who was pretty cute, I wanted the three finger combo but there’s no way I could say that to him so I panicked and ordered a kid’s meal. Similar, during COVID I went to Walmart to get toilet paper, and they had a setup where you had to ask an employee and they’d get it from the back. The employee was this completely gorgeous man, and I could not bring myself to ask him for toilet paper, so I left.

Blessed. No, you're a combo of lucky and doing what was needed to get to what you're talking about. Blessed implies that you somehow think God chose you over others
