Living in NOVA and then going to school in Blacksburg helped. Also spent lots of time in Va Beach area. But the middle of the state not so much! I love this idea.

This is OP. I've done almost all a long the NC border but not all a long the WV border. Then there are a few others here and there I may have been to as a kid but not sure.

Well thanks for starting this very pleasant thread. I’m not the pp who mentioned Natural Bridge but I did take my son a few years ago over spring break. We stayed nearby at an Airbnb that was a huge teepee on a farm and had so much fun. Highly recommend!

We literally moved to VA twenty years ago but were always so busy with kid activities that we tended not to go anywhere unless it was for a sports tournament, college visit, etc. Whole swathes of this beautiful state that we have not seen and enjoyed. Us too, are you trying to complete the VA state parks “Master Hiker”?

I’ve been to a lot because I travel there for work. So I’ve driven to them or through most of them at some point. I haven’t been all the way to Bristol.

Age 52 and grew up in NoVA (McLean). Went away for college and grad school (not in VA). Came back and have lived in Arlington County and Fairfax County. Have visited: Charlottesville, VA Tech, William & Mary, Culpeper, Lexington, VA Beach, Sandbridge, and First Landing State Park. That is about it! Most of our family lives up north or in the Midwest so we do not really travel within VA very much!
