^Yes. The messaging is "married my college sweetheart, started having kids while he was in med school (*read Rich Inlaws*), had a few more through residency, they're all in sports, and I've had enough time/money to get my body back".

It IS pretty compelling.

Lincoln Navigators are much more popular where I live.


We have had several GM Cadillac SRXs which we have driven to death. Our current one is 14 years old. They absolutely DO last.

We have an old Cadillac SRX and the new all-electric Cadillac Lyriq SUV. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving an Escalade. Too showy, too linked to drug dealers

I've driven equivalent sized vehicles in the past (Suburban, Yukon XL) and have no desire to do so again. I also refuse to buy anything made by GM because they don't last.

I can afford one (or many). But it's bad for the environment and dangerous to others in a collision. Most of the planet agrees with me. And yes, most of the planet can't afford those types of vehicles, but it doesn't change the fact that they're not the right choice if you're an informed and caring citizen.
