What does the media care about? What do the political elites argue over? What is the dominant public discourse?

Our leadership just isn't efficient enough. It's the age old too many Chiefs not enough Indians problem. Well, we aren't producing enough to sustain the wants of our consumer class. Inefficiencies abound. For example. Why can't people use Metro? Because businesses don't build near Metros. Why don't businesses build near Metro's, they don't want to pay for high priced properties or the taxes on the properties, so now they have to pay labor transportation costs. Our leadership doesn't have enough affordable labor, so they import labor, but the labor they import is poorly trained and doesn't communicate well, so they have to have a bunch of project managers. Net effect, depressed wages for everyone and inferior services.
