I think you’re missing the point. People are saying a bi man is still a MAN. And given men’s track records (very generally speaking) a man with potentially double the temptation/opportunity might be too much for some people.

And as others have said, sometimes people who are not quite ready to say they are gay, for whatever reason, first come out as bi.

So you’re one of those “bi deniers” eh? So far as you’re concerned you’re either 100 percent straight or 100 percent gay, there’s no in between, right?

How’s it different? In both cases it’s something new. You’re placing far too much emphasis on the equipment involved. And again we’re talking about bi, not gay.

Not unless he already experimented or will tell you and take precautions if he wants to explore this part of himself again.

OP has to be comfortable with this and if not, it's best he find someone else who is or also is bi and comfortable.

Is a gay person who only wants to marry another gay person, and not a bisexual person, biphobic? I don't think so. I think they simply want to be with someone who has the same sexuality as they do. There is nothing wrong with that.

"Biphobic" means you think bisexual people are inferior in some way, think their preference is deviant, wouldn't hire them or want your child to be bisexual, etc. I don't feel that way at all. I know and love bisexual people. But I am not bisexual and it is my preference to be in a relationship with a heterosexual person. It's a very personal choice.

I would date and marry a bisexual man, but not a man who thinks he might be bi but has never tried it. That's just a little too risky for my tastes.
