Today I’m dealing with really painful bad gas again and hoping someone has some advice on an OTC med that works. I’ve tried Gas-X and it doesn’t really seem to have helped. I also took activated charcoal. A friend of mine said might be better to get a muscle relaxer so my gut can relax and the gas can pass through more easily, but she’s not a medical professional, just a friend trying to be helpful.

I've seen multiple doctors with no luck so far. It's been years and is so depressing. Gas-x doesn't do anything. Will be watching this thread in case there's any other ideas.
You need to do a food elimination diet. This is not normal.

No, it's not normal and it's awful. I've done food elimination diets, low FODMAPs, on and on. It's just getting worse and there's not much I can eat. Feeling so helpless.

I get this from lactose intolerance if I eat ice cream or drink milk.
