My son likes Uniqlo (in Rockville) for most things. Jeans are from American Eagle.

Jeans are not popular with teens... sweat pants are.

Agree. Sweatpants and flannel pajama pants.

But if boys are wearing jeans it is most often American Eagle.

Agree.

No baggy jeans, no slim jeans for teen boys. But if they wear jeans for an occasion usually is American Eagle style. Straight styles.

Baggy jeans for skater look, slim for an "Atlanta" style.

Huh, at my kid's school the boys have started wearing jeans to school.

Yep, this year is a the first year my 16 yo is wearing jeans to school almost exclusively after the lifetime of sweat pants. Something is definitely changing and it cannot be just due AE ads.

Agree with American Eagle and H&M. Also he got his favorite pairs of jeans at Levi’s store - they do know their stuff.

I think it is the switch to baggy jeans - my son refused to wear skinny or slim pants and that’s when the sweat pants started. The lightweight/softer denim in a baggy cut is much more comfortable. That said, I saw a kid wearing something that looked suspiciously like JNCO jeans the other day and I shudder at the return of those!

This is my freshman boy's mall stops exactly (Tysons).
We add in Dick's when we need more sporty stuff and Nordstrom when we need something nicer.

Agree with American Eagle. Just bought a full jean replacement wardrobe for my junior. They do well with skinny kids.

Old Navy is good for basics.

Gap is overpriced given how little my kids care about clothes.

We buy Uniqlo. But it's hard to get pants right by mail order and custom hemming is not returnable.

We buy dress clothes at Macy's and Express and Vineyard Vines. Occasionally Nordstrom's Rack.
