It may be faster and safer (plus it sure does look great) but I found the entire backside to be one giant blind spot.
Especially considering a Fit has probably the best outward visibility of any car with a roof.
I miss my old Honda mini van for this reason. I replaced it with a Toyota Highlander and I can't see curbs and now that I'm not driving as much I have a hard time with right turns. The posts around the windshield can actually block seeing pedestrians right in front of you.
