I was just there this weekend visiting my sister and her family and if I were in my early 20s again Pittsburgh would be high on my list. It appears to be tons of fun and full of young people (i'm old so I don't count). Find a roommate situation for the semester (tons of Universities), sublet or AirBnB. I would go for the roommate situation since it may be temporary and you'll start meeting people immediately. Even if you might end up not liking them, it is an easy way to start to network socially and professionally.
