We have them all over. One of their main functions is to be our intercom system ("Alexa, broadcast . . . ). Most of them are the echo dots.

We have the Sonos system but also have several Echo devices around the house. The Amazon devices are nice because you can tell Alexa to skip a certain song or play a specific song. When we're in our pool, we can't do that with our outdoor Sonos speaker.

Your cellphone is listening to you. That's not creepy?

So because one device is monitoring you, just invite all the devices into your home?

And this is why our devices charge in the kitchen, not in bedrooms.

Your phone is listening to you 24/7.

If yours is, it's because you have not adjusted the privacy settings appropriately.

Could not pay me to put a Bezos Big Brother device in the house. We were given one and resold it without opening the box.

That's cute you believe those settings are real.

No way would I put a smart speaker like an Echo, HomePod, or Nest Audio in my home.

The Bose speakers are better quality anyway. Sonos are apparently great, too.

That's what we did as well.

We have one on each level so we can teach anyone at a given time. It’s nice to drop in to the kitchen instead of shouting around the house.
