Took a while to get sorted out especially if they have two last names but don’t go by the first one. Had some kids show up who weren’t registered.

Many, many high schoolers don’t handle maps well anymore. So getting to class could be frustrating.

Basically a normal first day for freshman.

I wonder if schools should teach kids how maps work instead of political agendas

In high school? Can't believe they didn't get a personal escort? Maybe an engraved schedule posted in the hallways for them?

All it takes is a competent principal to send an email stating where students meet when they get to school. Then another competent adult to print student schedules and put them in teacher mailboxes. Nobody is asking for an escort. Just common sense and continuity between schools

You would like every student to be provided with a printed schedule from the school?!? In high school?!?! Who would manage those 2000 pieces of paper?

My kid looked at his schedule today on his phone at the tail end of class after instruction was over and got an official cell phone warning.

Do you know how printers work?

It’s impossible to be a competent principal under this MCPS leadership. This is not hyperbole, this is fact.
