Subject: I need a funeral dress for Sunday, and a dress for Monday
At the funerals I’ve been to in the last few years most people wore something understated but not necessarily black in case that’s any help.

Was just going to say I went to TJ Maxx and found a black wrap dress for $24.99 that was totally appropriate. Might want to go try stuff quickly or, as other said, just wear black pants and cardigan or jacket.

Uniqlo had some black dresses today, but they were made out of sweater material so will probably be too warm. You can definitely wear black dress pants to at least one event.
This. I wore a dress that was black/plum color blocking to my uncle's funeral years ago bc at the time it was all that I had that fit. I wouldn't wear hot pink, but as long as it's dark (espresso, plum, navy, gray, etc.) you're good.

This... if OP has an office job and has black outfits she wears at work, she'd be fine. Getting one dress and wearing it with a different jacket or sweater is also fine. Dark gray or blue is also fine.
+1. Black pants and a dark top. Modest jewelry.
