I had a terrified cat in a cat carrier below my seat have horrible diarrhea and escape from her owners cat carrier and run through the cabin, so OPs claims aren’t impossible.

I like the clear bag idea - which you can discard immediately. I wouldn’t want to take a vomit or diarrhea covered bag home to wash it.

Incidentally, I actually pack everything inside vacuum bags before putting it in a transparent trash bag, AND then I put it inside the suitcase. I have had incidents of luggage being put outside in the rain etc and ruining luggage inside the suitcase.

This approach is best. I prefer to use underseat bags that can be laundered because of the general cootie level in travel.

Who says it was the algorithm? Maybe she posted those stories about herself.

The OP should place herself in one of those garbage bags.

In my case, the pilot usually opts for a crash landing and the resulting fire takes care of the bags. And about half the people, some trapped by the fire and some who lost the will to live.

I am similar. I typically have my explosive diarrhea on trains, only 50% of time on the planes. People around me just use wet wipes and trash bags to cover up when that happens. Hefty trash bags are sturdy and may be a good choice, OP.

I'm not concerned about the remote chance if rivers of diarrhea.

I do however think about the fact that everyone stands in the urine soaked floor of the bathrooms then treks those germs back to their seat and rests their grimy shoes on the space/carpet where they are telling people to store their underseat bags.

OP: but what about explosive diarrhea flowing down the aisles on airplanes

And don't forget the snakes. Make sure your bag is snake-proof.

My bag is made of nylon material and wipes clean easily. But if I were really concerned about bodily fluids, I would put it in a dry bag. I am not, so I don't.

You need to do better in the risk calculation department, OP.
