You are entitled to a preference. A preference is enough.
For less drama, I'd just dial it back. Respond only after many messages. Something short. Don't see her alone but only if you need to in a group setting.

I'd ghost until she reaches out to you. And I'd say something like "you violated my boundaries and it was completely inappropriate to share something I told you in confidence. I do not wish to continue a friendship with someone who acts like this. Best of luck."

Ghosting would be appropriate in this situation. But, since you said you don’t want to ghost, tell her in person and don’t beat around the bush. That is cut and dried. I would.
