Capelli has had a lot of challenges recently (the coup in Bangladesh last year didn't help). And if your club is on a 2-year cycle, and this is year 2, nothing the club, or you, can do but wait it out and hope they dump the bad vendor the next year.

We paid for our monogrammed Pennie’s!

First time using Capelli for a club my dd joined. Order first week of July. Received an email stating it would ship out in 5 weeks. I emailed them at the end of the 5th week. Got an auto response stating I would receive a reply withing 2-3 business days. Not reply after a week so I started emailing every day and the club as well. I finally got an email at the beginning of this week stating gear was sent to UPS facility and they should receive it bybthe end if this week. If there are so many issues, why work with them? My first time with them and it has not been a good one.

The Director’s do not get a kickback
The Clubs do though
Depending on the club it’s between $20k to $110k per Club on the order year cycle
Much less on the non order year cycle but still significant enough that they punish the family’s by making the deal
In addition, it is “usually” not a two year cycle
Clubs sign deals for longer than that

Kick backs are in the form of coaching gear and equipment so it's not like the directors are making more money from capelli directly.

Its better to early in June with Capelli, orders placed in Late July/ August are significantly delayed.

-Buy a matching color T-Shirt and put a number on it with a marker.

are you saying capelli uses child labor?

Hard to say, but garment factories in Bangladesh are one of the world's worst offenders:

Last season we ordered through capelli and the full order (over 1k of items) took almost 4 months to arrive. Many pieces arriving AFTER the regular season had ended. It was beyond frustrating. Our league (SYC) broke the contract and no longer works with them as this was the case with many other families as well.

We were shocked DS’s uniform arrived quickly as we’ve never heard anything good. Ordered in late June and here by Aug 1. I guess he was lucky that his jersey and size were in stock. He’s an adult large and a GK so maybe there’s less demand for some sizes or pieces.
