Anyone know what happened with Battle 15 Boys team? It was cancelled for the season

Girls program is the same except the coaches are terrible in comparison. The directive is funding the league, not development of the kids.

Boys who play on club teams fly all over the country for tournaments. The list does include several within driving distance (Pittsburgh, Richmond) and even local at St. James and MD Juniors in Jessup. But with flights, hotels, rental cars/Ubers and meals away from home, the total cost of a year of club volleyball will be much, much more.

Are they flying to tournaments? Can't they find anything in driving distance? The only thing that could explain this would be the relatively low number of local boys clubs. It can get very expensive very fast if you need to fly to tournaments. We are complaining about spending a lot of money on volleyball, but we can drive to most of our tournaments. I didn't know we have it so good.

Congrats to your son! This is a new calendar for boys' club in the Chesapeake region - last year tryouts were in late October.
We were told that there would be minimal practices in the fall bc of HS volleyball, but have not yet seen the actual schedule.
