I always wondered about that sign in front of the house! Thank you for this.

Might be worth calling Parkway Deli--I recall them having it but it's not on their online ordering system.

TJ’s is better. The one at Moti’s is hit or miss (mostly miss, really).

it’s dry AF

to clarify I was agreeing that motis is a miss for the reason I gave-not TJs which is fine and unfortunately the best option I have found that’s fairly good consistently. I have paid so much money for terrible babkas around here. From now on i’m just gonna try ordering from NY-it’s honestly not even that much more expensive since bakeries in this area charge a premium for these items anyway. For example a huge cannoli cake in NY would cost about $30. One here will be 3x the cost.

I made one for the first time last weekend. It was a lot of work, but absolutely amazing! I used Duff Goldman's recipe.

Of the packaged ones, TJ’s is great.

People like Breads but for me it has a hazelnut taste, like Nutella.

I wish people would stop using nutella and describing it as chocolate. That nutella taste is so overpowering and unless you love nutella-it ruins it.

Make it yourself- the kosher baker has a great recipe. The TJs one is ok and great harvest also has a decent one.
