Yes. I think so. It is very close to BHES. That’s a very good school. It’s a good neighborhood. Green tree is busy through that stretch and this house is bigger than the others on that stretch of green tree. Also it’s not really a rehab place. It’s a long term shelter for women and children that is set up like garden apartments, and it is significantly set back from the road up a hill and behind trees. A lot of people in the neighborhood don’t even know it’s there.
One of those kids, a Whitman student who lived there, killed someone at the Target on Wisconsin Ave a couple of years ago.
There were actually three teenagers from the greentree group home in Bethesda involved in that murder. They were charged as adults.

Its a homeless shelter for familes, not long term, and it is a group home for teens, most of whom cannot be placed in foster homes.
