you could compare 4-year graduation rates or mid-career income stats
you could compare golf teams or research grants.
you could compare start-up incubators or med school enrollment.

what are you asking? usually students have very specific feelings about small schools, either being very attracted or not at all interested.

This. My older DC chose Swat over Brown for engineering. My rising senior is only looking at SLACs.

What does that mean…Swat doesn’t really have engineering but you can do a 5 year program with Penn.

Swat certainly does have a four-year engineering program.

It’s a general engineering degree. I don’t really see the point. No ability to major in EE or Mechanical or other engineering disciplines.

Value added to loan default
Academic reputation

and not so much things like environment, which per WSJ is
Proportion of international students
Student diversity
Student inclusion
Staff diversity
