It’s just dumb content for social media, marketing, etc. Like everything these clubs post on social media, dumb content - hype videos, media day pics, uniform reveals, public “thank yous” to colleges, hype, hype, hype…and no beef. No highlighting of the training and techniques that actually is their product. Probably because they all claim to be serving Wagyu Filets and are handing out Salisbury Steak.

You have an interesting take on US youth soccer. Did you know that through u14 US players are fairly even with European players? What changes at u14 and above we maintain the status quo while European acadamies weed out players. What ends up happening is fewer and few players get more and more resources put into their development. Out here its the same amount of players as u14 and the same amount of resources.

US club development isnt worse or bad it’s just less focused.

I don’t agree, at all, with the premise or any part of your post. U14 US players may be able to get on the pitch w/ players from Europe or South America (South America has a few players too, but many of you somehow never acknowledge that) and get a result but that in no way, shape or form means the development is equal.

Doesn’t Girls Academy have a competition called Champions Cup where only certain clubs on a really short list get to compete?

You could get on the old internet and look up the rankings for these clubs for last year and see that CSA, RU, and VDA had more higher ranked girls teams across the club than ARL and Bethesda... Or you could continue to amuse us with your conspiracy theories. Denying easy to look up data seems like a good way to go through life.

Another reason no one should be making soccer decisions based on DCUM. The bias and misinformation is astounding. The trolls are rampant.

I get lulled into thinking that it's not 70% garbage sometimes then read some post about my Club that states blatantly false facts and remember it's mostly opinions of people you probably wouldn't want to hang with on the sidelines,,

A favorite of mine was when someone posted my DD was going to another team that they named. It was her team and her position, she had 80% or so of the playing time. It definitely seemed like her, funny thing we hadn't even tried out where she was supposedly going.

Top 25 may be accurate, may not, but you can bet the DCUM narrative is most likely not accurate.

Man, you all are so cynical about anything that is shared that may be good for a club. It's a scam, it's fake propaganda. My goodness.

Maybe your DD will be a better player if she joins one of these clubs, but much is up to your DD. My take is playing for a well regarded club can only help because of the exposure that the club will bring, but it's up to your DD as a player to take advantage of that additional exposure and make it work for them. Put in the work, and see what happens.
