Anonymous wrote:Providence is a great walking city with different neighborhoods. Walk along the Providence River downtown, Walk through Federal Hill, walk to Wayland Square on tbe other side of Brown, stroll Wickenden Street. Thayer Street is the main drag of student life—stop and have a coffee.
Newport is a short drive and is worth checking out if you haven’t been there. I’m biased because I went there but I believe Brown is a perfectly located school!
