The 2 hard core MAGAs that I know grew up in families of divorce and had very strong mother - head of household - figures in their lives. Having known them most of my life I think they think Trump, for some strange reason, represents the “idyllic” 1950s childhood they never had, but obviously, never will. And this seems strange to me that they see an old, mysogenistic, crass white guy as their role model instead of their strong mothers who in the end supported their families. So maybe it does have something to do with daddy issues.


You would think single moms would raise super feminist children but that isn’t typically the case. A lot of men get the idea that it’s the mom’s fault that the dad left and proceed to hate women.

This is my MAGA brother to a T. Angry about growing up with a single mother and sisters. Had non-white daughters and got divorced. He’s more worried about my white sons than his daughters who don’t look white. He’s a perpetual victim and will tell anyone who will listen, and even if you stop listening he will still manipulate every conversation to tell you.

If he wants to prostrate himself to a demented felon in public, what do I care about this weak man? I’m not married to him or have to look at him every day. A lot of weak men in society today. That’s all there is to it.
