Subject: BCC's interim Principal
Will the interim principal stay the full year at BCC? Or is there a plan to have a permanent one in place partway through the year?

I'm a BCC parent and haven't heard anything about that. But I have heard things about the main booster parent, the one who sends emails in all caps. Since they're rumors, I will not repeat them here.
Isn't the whole point of this place to spread rumors??
PP you replied to. Not for me, because it's not cool to spread unsubstantiated rumors about someone in the community that people can recognize. The parent in question doesn't have kids in the school anymore, but he's very effective at his job. So. I can only hope he leaves soon.
What? The ALL CAPS parent was a mom of a basketball player. That's where this all started.

Principals are responsible for hiring. Surely you knew that.
Now whether there is a full roster of counselors, or some still need to be hired, I don't know. Maybe you can call the school.
Mcps lawyer spokesperson: Principals can make sure their staff are hired, inquire on status of hires and adjust their staff accordingly until new hires arrive.
Presumably the new principal will do that. If you have specific concerns about hiring that hasn’t been done, why don’t you write him.
