I think pp meant Kataifi (which is the knafeh flavor). I know kataif are different, but some bars with kunafa were called kataifi

Too expensive to even try. This is what I'd call a risk of disappointment purchase, given the feedback here, so I'm not even going to try. Plus I don't really like pistachios.

I don't eat it, but I have heard Balducci's has it.

My dd loves it, as do many of my young coworkers.

It's just different, that's all. It has a nice crunch. If you like pistachio and chocolate, you'll love it. It's not intended to be better, just something else to try. Comparing it to a pure chocolate bar, truffle, or praline doesnt make sense. Its just a chocolate sweet with a unique filling.

I think all the influencers are lying when they go on and on about how delicious it is. it’s totally overhyped. people are using crappy cheap chocolate to make it.

It's baklava with chocolate on top. And with too many pistachios.

Order online. I live in the Persian Gulf, for work, and it is not actually Dubai chocolate at all. It is a Turkish sweet that somehow someone named Dubai chocolate, and now even Turks call it that. I have rows of Kunafa chocolates in a grocery store, Swiss ones too, that are insanely expensive.
I can't eat it due to a dairy allergy (they have a vegan option, which is eh), but my friends tell me that Ulker from Turkey is the best-tasting one. It's overpriced on Amazon; I buy one bar, which is a bit smaller than some others, for less than $3.
