I will be 50 in November & I thought I was going nuts. I've had 4 children, (in my younger days) and am only getting a few periods per year now. I have been feeling "little kicks" for 2 weeks now, but both preg. tests came out negative. Its crazy, they truly feel like kicks. Nothing like gas or indigestion, kicks. There must be an explanation. Has no one ever seen a dr for it? If not ... I will. I'll report in again within a month with what the dr says.

i have been feeling this very recently. i am 32 have 3 kids i have had tubal ligation and also been through removal of my gallbladder. i know for sure its not gas. i have regular bowel movement and know exactly what gas pains feel like. but it is strange cause it feels exactly like when a baby first starts moving. think i'll go see my doc since their are no clear answers to what this feeling is on any website i've visited. good luck everyone

SAME feelings off and on for the last few years... have taken many preg. tests but I never am.
I am SO happy to see this thread! NO pain, not even a twinge. Does not feel anything like gas (you know that horrible feeling of gas moving through your "pipes"?? NOT that feeling)
It's down low and to the side, RIGHT where my babies used to kick... so weird.
I have 5 kids; 14, 15, 16, 23 & 24.

I'm the OP - the symptoms didn't last much longer after my original post - maybe another few weeks. I definitely wasn't pregnant and we've never found any other issues. weird, huh? (so for anyone else having these same symptoms - it is probably no big deal.)

It could be the uterine wall contracting.

I think I started that other thread. In my case, it was gas.

I think gall bladders can cause this?

I have the same feeling all the time and usually in the same spot. I to have wondered if I was pregnantr because of this. I am not of course but I'm still not sure what causes it.

I have recently started feeling this also. The difference between me and most of the other responses is that my baby is 10 yrs old and I had a complete hysterectomy when he was 6 weeks old!! I have not had a period (obviously) or anything for over 10 years. I have had gas before and it never felt like that and it is usually always in the approx same place. I am concerned ... guess I will go talk to my doctor ... thanks girls
