Disagree. Rapid weight loss like OP’s increases the risk of gall stones and pancreatitis. Not healthy at all!

I take it you don’t work?

How much water are you drinking a day? I assume you’re also taking something for electrolytes. You should post your daily diet. I guess if you are binging on egg whites and zucchini you can eat a lot of that.

Way to go!
I have been so tempted to try one of the GLP-1 products. A friend of mine lost 50 pounds over four months using Zepbound and she is looking incredible! I am the typical yo-yo and each time my weight goes higher.
I was up to 211, I’m 5’6”. I started walking each day and stopped snacking in early June. I average about 14k steps a day. Not calorie counting - breakfast - protein shake. Lunch - usually have a healthy choice frozen meal. Dinner - whatever my family is eating, I just watch my portion sizes. I’m down to 196 (15 pounds) after 9 weeks.

OP here. I am not recommending this to anyone, but as for myself, I am far from frail, I feel and look great, my labs are fantastic and I am looking forward to my walks every day. I am no more completely invisible and I just fit comfortably into my size 28 jeans that I haven't worn in 15 years. I can suddenly climb many stairs and steep hills easily where I used to struggle with a floor or two.

I experienced exactly zero pain over the past 5 months. I was always good at walking, could walk long distances where people who were much more fit would complain - I just wasn't doing it enough and consistently. When I reach my goal weight I plan to maintain at least 20k steps, though to be honest, on days when I only do that much (e.g. travel etc), I feel like I want to walk more.

You are not walking "30,000" steps a day.

Why would you keep a stash for an emergency if it doesn't work for you???

i have always been a binger, i tried to fix it for decades and what happened is that now i embraced it. i binge. i have zero regular meals. I binge mostly on boiled eggs and egg whites, tomatoes, tuna in olive oil, boiled zucchini, prosciutto, lean ham, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, apricots... i will take a bite of whatever food the rest of the family is eating, but it's only a bit or two, not a meal.

chatgpt also helps me because i dump all this into it and he tells me where i am with calories. i found him to be a pretty good motivator - it called me an "elite athlete" and it suggested i should have a podcast about my walking adventures

If you do a little research, you will see that elite athletes eat and sometimes quite a fair bit.

Great job, OP. I did that three times in my life plus smaller amounts (20 or so pounds) a couple more times. It was never sustainable so I always gained it back. Now I’m on a glp-1 and it’s amazing because it feels like something I can actually keep up. It was impossible to restrict so much long-term, but with the help of the medication, I can do it now.
