It inexplicably brought tears to my eyes. Like- it creeped me out/I felt sorry for it/I was scared of it/I felt sorrow for this life that it has/I felt awful that I hated it. But the LURKING. I CAN'T.
Humans getting attached to this robot??

From a psychological perspective, that's why robots are anthropomorphized, to make humans feel pity and develop trust for the robot. It's a bad practice that has all sorts of risks in the future as A.I. and robots improve.

And the police were completely useless, they never even bothered to investigate because crime is so prevalent now.
It’s security theater. It makes people feel better but it’s not going to actually fix anything. I’ve pretty much accepted that the US is well into third world country status and we’re all screwed.
Sure, MAGA, sure.
Why would you think I’m MAGA? Right wing policies are what drive this country down the toilet. The countries with the lowest crime rates are Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, etc - all of which are very liberal.
It’s the same as kicking out immigrants. It makes politicians look like they’re doing something without them actually having to do anything.
