No wonder there are so many awful drivers out there. You should be taking the practice hours seriously. And to a different PP, a night trip to the store doesn’t equal an hour unless you truly take an hour to get to the store and back.
Kept track of hours in a small notebook kept in glove box. Transferred to log in book the night before. Kids had well over the minimum hours required. Amused by there is an app for that mentality and by rigid rule followers. The US has truly lost its way.

Well obviously, but that's what happened. The total hours are easy. It's the night driving that is tough this time of year. We used hourly increments, run to the store, that's an hour.
Right, we had it the other way, they got their permits in winter and behind the wheel in summer. I should have planned ahead better.
Night driving will be easy in the winter. Even though I hate it being dark so early.

Well obviously, but that's what happened. The total hours are easy. It's the night driving that is tough this time of year. We used hourly increments, run to the store, that's an hour.
Night driving will be easy in the winter. Even though I hate it being dark so early.

DD is doing BTW right now. She needed to bring her log with her the first day. She is using an excel spreadsheet and the teacher just told her to print it out and would staple it to the official form.

We didn’t log anything and I Drive Smart doesn’t ask for it. He completed more than double or triple the 45 hours by the final test so I wasn’t concerned about logging.
