I'd assume all emails are snooped on and databased though, even recent ones.
Something to think about.
Our large workplace started deleting them after two years because people had so many in their varios boxes and the storage got insane. Some people had ten years' or more worth of email, thousands.
They also were/are never private. I know because mine were gone through without a heads up because of a lawsuit looking for a specific topic. Assume anyone can read them.
