Funny that folks are arguing about whether socks should last longer than 18 months as it depends on how often they are worn & washed during that time period. If you only have a few pairs of socks, 18 months is a long time to go without replacing them.

I find they break after awhile. My child is size 5 and his grandmother bought him I think a male size. They were fine, but ripped when he was pulling them up. Target socks are fine. Try and find 100% cotton if you can. I also looked online and found some, but only ever ordered 1 pair if I could to see if my kid would like them.

As an adult if I spend money on socks I buy feetures. They are for runners, but I wear them whenever and they last. My Bombas ripped/had holes within a few months of me owning them. I was really disappointed in them. Feetures are WAY better!

I like how Bombas feel like the kind of hug your feet, and how some of them have extra cushioning that is really nice to walk around on.

I only have a few pairs, as does my kid, but I like them more than my other socks. We often get them on 🛒 day as stocking stuffers.

No - big pack of Hanes ones from Target and they last until my kid grows out of them.

NP. I find the Bombas marketing campaign to be very impressive.

For athletic socks, we will keep buying the REI house brand. For dress socks, we will stick to Gold Toe.

every year there is some "it" brand that every umc dmv tween girl "has" to have. it's a scam.

if your kid is unpopular, no amount of brands coving their bodies will help. there are popular kids who wear clothes from old navy and target and shoes from a garage sale who will always be popular no matter what they are wearing.

free yourself from your chains. buy your kids the walmart socks and never look back.

I think they are overrated and pricy for what you get. I spend just a little more on Smartwool and they last forever. Bombas don't.

I buy a new set of 6 or so and toss any worn ones, which is usually 2 or 3 pairs. This doesn't seem extravagant to me at all.

I used to swear by Bombas until I learned about Feetures- I love them! But I’m not sure why you would have a kid wear them?
