Twelve year old Yu Zidi went a 2:09 and change in the 2IM and just missed 3rd place by 0.06. That time is 9 sec faster than the U.S. NAG’s for 11-12 girls, and 3 sec faster than the 11-12 boys’, as well as the 13-14 girls’ NAGs. Her 4IM is coming up, but her best time is 15 sec faster than the US NAG 11-12 girls’ record, and again, faster than the 11-12 boys’ and 13-14 girls’ NAG. To put it into perspective, summer McIntosh was going a 2:18 in the 2IM at age 12, 9 sec behind Yu’s time. Yikes.
Only explanation is PED's.
This. No one is surprised that it’s a Chinese swimmer, who also does not appear to be 12. I would go with she’s older than 12 and on PEDs.

That's one of the dumbest ideas ever posited on DCUM. It's as if you don't live here and don't understand the traffic.
I do know of who lives in Montgomery County, but drives their kid to NCAP in Tysons/Vienna. However, in that case, the kid went to a private school out there and the parent worked there too.
That's not summer swim.
Going from MoCo to NoVa for summer swim is koo-koo bonkers.
