Both were pretty but too small and one kid said they both had a weird vibe. Kids loved Univ of Oregon, Univ of Washington, Puget Sound and Gonzaga. Surprised most by Oregon State.

Weather beats DC’s oppressive heat/humidity/thunderstorms summers with endless mosquitos and the cold winters. And I’m far more claustrophobic here. I miss being able to spend the majority of the year outside with mountains, trees and rivers/lakes just minutes away. Unfortunately my husband is a Fed so I’m stuck here longer.
Nope, that's not true unless you really enjoy misting and depressing rain for majority of the year. No sunshine. Do agree with ya on DC's humidity but at least most college students do not stick around in DC over summers. Ideal is DC for 9 months and PNW for 3 months.

Anonymous wrote:It’s not the weather that is the major problem with the PNW, it’s the insufferable people.
Anonymous wrote:It is awesome for three months. Then it mists and rains for 9 months straight. Bigger issue for people is the lack of light in winter.
