Silver Diner biscuits are not good

Agree. SD biscuits are hard, not fluffy. Actually, we just skip them at breakfast. They also have deep-fried "home fries" rather than true hash browns.

Honestly, Waffle House has the best breakfast food - albeit no decor at all.

This is traditional biscuits. Real biscuits are not like cylindrical rolls like that garbage that comes in cans.

If this surprises you, you must walk thru life in a state of perpetual amazement.

Did you know they sell biscuit dough...in cans? *gasp*

I didn’t like the Mason Dixie biscuits, so we might have very different tastes, but I’ve been pleased with the cheese biscuits that I’ve made using the Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix.

I remember grandparents buying those things! Loved to bust them open.

Nah. The fluffiness comes from making a wet dough

Thanks a lot, PP. Now I’m craving pigs in a blanket.
