No one is waiting 6 months to swim. Unless you never swim anyhow

ma'am, you live in inland virginia, not on a tiny island where you must swim out to sea every day to catch a fish. you will survive without swimming.

Has anyone used Belleza Lase and would you recommend? Similar situation to OP- swimmer, on break for a few weeks between summer and fall so now is the window. Was planning on Craig but now seeing some not great reviews. DD wants to do this but is also highly sensitive..

These seem like an awful lot of precautions for an ear piercing that was done at Claire's.

The timing is tough and remember 2 girls showed up to soccer season with newly pierced ears and they had to decide between taking piercings out or being benched. They chose to be benched for season.

Wow - I can't imagine my kids picking vanity over sports!!!

Can fully imagine kid picking but was surprised the parents allowed.

We were told 8-12 weeks when my girls got their ears pierced, but honestly this is a really good reason to get your kids' ears pierced early. Mine were both in Kindergarten and not involved yet in multiple sports. We pierced in the fall of K and neither girl did any after school activities that first semester anyway because they were so exhausted from school.

My daughter swam the day after getting her ears pierced. She got them pierced after her last soccer game of the season.
