This is the original national championship. So yes there are other national championships.
Right. Usys natty is the zombie temple cup series of soccer

Yes, this is a problem in youth soccer. Every league has their own national championships -- it actually fits the P2P system well, though -- as you can crown MORE teams and lead parents to believe it's all worth the $$$.
Still, it's why no one really can claim to be the best team in any age group. Sure, we've got a rankings app but it has favorites. Best way to settle things always is on the field.
I actually don't mind the multiple "national championships." These are kids sports, not pro ball. There should be multiple avenues to find success, even if it doesn't fit our adult version of competition. Nationals is a big achievement for any of these leagues and the kids who make it there have worked very hard for a long time. I have no issues with "nattys" for USYS/USClub/ENCL/GA/MLSnext/ECRL/Presidents cup/DPL...etc. That's still not very top championships for the millions of kids who play travel soccer. (USYS registers 2.5 million each year alone).
I don't mind it either ... I just think it'd be fun to have the champs play each other -- although that's probably not logistically possible OR smart given the amount of soccer already played.
What could the significance be in having the champions all play eachother?
To crown a true national champion for each age group.
Very funny. ECNL>GA>USYSA
In general perhaps, BUT USYS teams do beat ECNL and GA teams from time-to-time. Regardless, this is all water cooler talk unless they settle it on the field.
They would have to beat the best ECNL team though.
A lot of the top e64 teams play Jefferson cup.

They can do that in college. For the moment, they are all having success and buying a lot of $90 hoodies.
Youth sports tourism in action!
