I think that most people agree that it wasn’t close to the best case. Trump essentially said it a number of times, even specifically talking about out how they shared a love of very young girls.

You way overstate what was "accepted as par for the course."

Yes, behavior was not pretty in the 80's. It was a bad of era when the women's liberation advances got interpreted as "anything goes in our treatment of women."

Movies reflected but way exaggerated the dynamics, as movies do. They captured the extremes and with a satirical perspective -- that's what made them funny at the time.

Even for the 80's, Trump was gross. Normal 80's dads did NOT go around musing about sec with their daughters.

Agree. And while I don't doubt that he purposefully walked into the dressing rooms of minors, it would be nearly impossible to convict him of crimes in those instances.

As usual, he harms people in a way that makes it really hard to see him face any actual consequences.
