You already have it: Oatmeal. Steel cut oats. Rolled oats and Cheerios are good too. Remember that oatmeal can also be prepared in savory ways as well as sweet.

I love Alpen Muesli. It’s very dense and filling.

Cereal is just a bowl of carbs. Avoid cereal to lose weight. Breakfast should be protein and fat. An omelet with avocado toast and some berries. This is what I eat when I want to be full until dinner time.

1 cup overnight soaked mixed lentils - grind it in the blender, add 2 tbsp of chickpea flour, 1 tspn ground roasted flaxseed flour, add 2 heaping tbsp of small grain cottage cheese, finely chopped spinach, carrots, onions, cilantro, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, and some spices like cumin, salt, turmeric, paprika, pinch of baking powder. Let it rest. Make pancakes out of it, and eat with yogurt. Keeps well for 2-3 days in the fridge. A protein, veggi, omega 3 powerhouse.

+1
Cereal isn't particularly filling for long regardless of fiber content. Probably just better to use it as a topping on yogurt.

You didn't ask, but I'll share my low-carb/high protein granola recipe. I don't put any sweetener on it until I eat it. I put on yogurt or eat like cereal with milk. It is very filling.

1 cup almonds
1 cup unsweetened coconut
1 cup pecans
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup flax seed meal
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 large egg white, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1 tsp cinnamon

Pulse almonds in a food processor a little so you have large pieces.
Add pecans and pulse again until most of the nuts are chopped into large pieces (about 1/4 to 1/2 of the full size of the nuts).
Add the coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed meal and chia seeds. Pulse just enough to mix everything.
Add cinnamon and mix with spatula. Add egg white and melted coconut oil and mix well.
Press flat onto a cookie sheet and bake at 300 for 45 minutes, turning mixture with a spatula every 15 minutes so edges don't get too brown.
Cool completely before putting away.

Plain old cheerios with some super plump blueberries and really cold milk
