No issues whatsoever but then again I don’t typically react to the flu shot or Covid boosters other than a sore arm.

I had no side effects. Re the sore arm, a nurse once told me to keep my arm as loose as possible as the shot goes in to help prevent soreness. Seems to work for me.

It was nothing.

I had a painful arm for about a week.

My arm hurt so bad after and I was so tired that I get titers now instead of the shot. Got my fifth or sixth one over twenty years ago and my titers were still high a few years ago. Nhs says if you have gotten at least five you are probably immune for life but to get one if you injure yourself or are traveling to a developing country.

Waiting on my first grandchild so I had both TDap and RSV within the last month. No side effects at all. In the past, I have had the sore arm and flu like symptoms with the shingles and Covid vax.

I know I am an outlier, but I had a big reaction to TDap about 10 years ago. Had a fever and other major symptoms for two weeks. Then two more weeks of fatigue. Huge red and burning welt at site of injection that also persisted for about 10 days. Doctor could never decide if it was an allergic reaction or adverse reaction.

I got one together with my shingles shot and didn’t notice a thing except a sore arm.

As you get older, you'll find out that some of the shots such as shingles and pneumonia can cause flu-like symptoms for a day or two. Not for everybody, but for many. I have found that the covid shot makes me pretty achy for a day starting 24 hours after the shot.

I just had one a few weeks ago. It was fine. My shoulder/arm was sore for about 5 days. That's it.

You don't need an down time. I'd get it in your non-dominant shoulder, however.

Or look at YouTube. If you do certain arm exercises religiously a number of times an hour for the first few hours it helps avoid arm pain.

Nbd. Sometimes a sore shoulder but I think that’s more needle placement than the shot contents.

Nothing. Easier than flu or covid.
