She actually hated Dormify - found it so cheesy and overpriced - but it was her favorite headboard after looking everywhere (plus she had a promo code). She LOVED it and will end up using it all four years (attends a SLAC and they all live on campus). I just did a search so I could give you a link but it seems to have disappeared now that, I guess, Dormify was bought by PB/Williams Sonoma. Many people say the headboard is a waste but it is one of the things dd loved most about her dorm room. It was soft so nice to sit up and read in bed, she could plug her phone into it, and it was super easy to install with command strips). You could probably find one secondhand on marketplace or similar, because many kids move off campus and no longer have a twin bed. Good luck!

So what? It’s for a college dorm room.
We got a really nice one for my DD at a thrift store, painted & covered it ourselves, and it ended up being used in the guest room of her first apartment. Pottery Barn would’ve ended up trashed. I work hard for my money and would rather buy quality stuff, dorm room or not.

Tell your daughter that you all can reassess at winter break to see if she really needs one.

Not like what OP is asking. The girls on social media have padded, pretty ones.
PB Teen has a lot. Or Etsy.
