Did he get in trouble for falsifying his account and causing her to get arrest arrested and was wasting police time?

It’s possible he wanted to cheat, and then started spinning this narrative to others and even to himself to “justify” the affair.

Or, as I know from my own marriage, from the outside, you never know what’s going on inside a marriage. But cheating is not the answer and if he has a real problem with his marriage, he should either try to fix the marriage or get out of the marriage. Not have a messy affair. And the friend who is having an affair with him has zero excuse.

He is now cheating on her with a mutual friend and other women saying she broke him down.

How much of his actions are justifiable? How much of what he says is true?

He was laying the ground work to excuse his cheating.

I eventually met the woman my exH had an emotional affair with. He told her I was a hood rat with low IQ that he had saved. She was very surprised to learn his description didn’t match.

Even my wife said good for him.

I'd feel the same way if a woman was cheating on her physically abusive husband

You cheer cheating instead of recommending they just end the marriage? If you have an abusive or horrible partner, you divorce.

Cheating is not justified when you live in a country where you can just separate and divorce. Cheating is villainous.

Your gross. They can divorce. And cheating on someone physically abusive is a death sentence. Just get out.

And a friend in the group. These people are messy and trashy I'd distance myself

My cousin's ex husband made up stuff about her when he was cheating. He himself in the face and called the cops complaining she hit him. Fortunately a neighbor caught it on their ring camera but she still had an arrest on her record. He kept claiming their daughter wasn't his until she got a court ordered DNA test. Such a shithead.

I do not judge cheating since I don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

But I would rather not socialize with a cheating couple. And I would press any cheater to come clean with their spouse.

That’s how people with integrity react to this sort of thing.

Cheaters lie like rugs.
