Susan Butler is terrible. Waste of money. Do not use.

She is fine to write an agreement. That is not legal advice.

I am also a lawyer and I disagree. Divorce lawyers are known especially to unnecessarily drive costs up. And what you are encouraging is unethical and obscene. An uncontested divorce should not bankrupt a family.

Please do better. You’re disgusting.

There's a big difference between a lawyer who charges a bottom-of-the-line rate and is desperate and a good lawyer who says "I will do everything in my power to keep costs low while giving your case the time it deserves." I had a family law attorney at a highly respected firm tell me the latter and I appreciated it.

If in DC, you can use the free services from the District. You probably never want to use anyone whose claim to fame is that they're low cost. Everyone needs high quality legal help. The people in the DC mediation office are top notch, based on personal experience. I'm an attorney and I used them with great results. https://www.dccourts.gov/superior-court/multi-door-dispute-resolution-division

Does MD(Montgomery County) have anything of the sort?

DP you are definitely not a lawyer. Because no lawyer is in the business of saving people money. You pay for expertise. The better the expert, the more they cost.
