Is that what you're saying OP? I hope you don't have daughters.

If you’re skinny as a grown woman then chances are you’re anorexic or seriously mentally disturbed.

Or don't pound 2 liter sodas daily while eating the buffet takeout bucket of food.

DP here.

Interesting. I'm an expat and am living in a country where almost every woman, from teen to young adult to middle aged and beyond, is slim. The food is amazing, really fresh with a lot of amazing seafood and fresh produce and rice/grains. Getting fat when you get older is not a universal experience in the world.

Oh my gosh! It’s almost like this is an epidemiological issue rather than a problem with individual people.
Do you think that if you took a map of the United States, obesity would cluster in certain areas?

Wait, are there other issues, illnesses, social problems, etc. that correlate specifically with certain geographical areas? This is craaaazy!!!

Chill. PP was responding to someone who made the blanket statement that a woman can’t be skinny in middle age without being anorexic or “seriously mentally disturbed”.

My guess is the PPP is claiming it’s not possible to be thin in middle age without anorexia or mental problems so she can feel better about her own weight. When it reality it’s absolutely what she eats and her lifestyle.

There’s no point here really except that I appreciate real women, even during this Ozempic/Botox/duck lip/boob job/Brazilian butt lift era.

Which two female celebs are you talking about, OP? Names and link?

My guess is Reese Witherspoon and her boyfriend. They both look very flabby and like neither work out at all. I'd forgotten Reese and her tall, thin husband had divorced.

Her husband really is out of shape. Wow.

I didn’t think the outfit she wore to the IKWYDLS premiere was particularly flattering for her very normal sized figure. But, I do appreciate that she has a much more normal figure for a middle aged woman vs her teenage skeletal looking figure.

Agreed, that was a bad dress. I feel bad that she's getting raked over the coals for her appearance.

Reese Witherspoon must be one. Maybe Jennifer Love Hewitt for the other?

I have met Reese. She’s a 2 at most. I’m a 4 and similar height.

Yes, they have normal middle-aged bodies. Probably size 6 and 10, respectively. Look bigger standing next to the size 0s, but really aren't. They look great.

Do you think so re: Reese? She is short. I’m her height, a size 6, and look noticeably heavier than she does.

I think she’s a 2-4 and even that looks heavy in Hollywood.

Maybe, all depends on how you carry your weight. Hers is evenly distributed and she is toned.
