NP. I scramble one egg and add egg whites from a carton.

Same here. Sometimes just do egg whites.

I’d probably go with the eggs most mornings, but I like to mix in vegetables:
ex.
salsa (with chedar)
broccoli (with cheddar)
spinach and mushroom (with swiss)
spinach and marinara (with parmesan or mozzarella)

However, if I was in the mood for oatmeal, I’d feel comfortable having oatmeal. I think both can be healthy (depending on the rest of the diet) and that having variety in your diet is good.

Those are my typical breakfast options and eat them equally. I add egg whites and throw a bunch of veggies in for scramble. I skip the bread. And, on the oatmeal, I don’t add the milk, just fruit.

Meh, food nutrition constantly changes. People should just use common sense.

Common sense is that 2 eggs are too many. Have fun taking a statin.

The oatmeal is far healthier, every time. Skip the eggs.

For weight loss, I’d choose the eggs but leave out the cheese and sub the buttered toast for a slice of smoked salmon and avocado. I’d also add a side of fruit for fiber.

I don't eat any breakfast like this. This is more of a lunch or post-workout meal. 2 eggs is too many for most people as well.

I recommend starting your day as I do: 1 glass of cool water, then 1 cup of black coffee, then go to the gym for an hour, have a green juice, then lunch (could be one of your above meals) at 11am. I'm 5'6" and 105lbs.

Oatmeal spikes my blood sugar if I eat it as breakfast, I’d have to cut it out completely.

So definitely eggs. If you like savory egg dishes, it’s such an easy way to sneak in more vegetables, especially since breakfast rarely includes them.

Put some black beans and pico de gallo on those eggs

I do eggs on my home days and yogurt with granola on work days ( I work 12s so eat at work) I’d keep rotating personally or you’re gonna get bored.

It depends on whether you need to eat more fiber or more protein. I eat both but also do full fat greek yogurt with berries- in my opinion it is the best of those two worlds. High in protein and fiber.

As an alternative, I make baked scrambled eggs (basically, a crustless quiche). I sauté a bunch of vegetables, then combine the vegetables with 6-7 cracked and mixed eggs, and a handful of cheese. Place all in a greased 8 inch square dish and bake about 20-25 minutes. You can reheat a square each day. Saves time and most importantly, clean up.
