Could you elaborate? Is it the parking, shopping cart availability, the aisles, the shelves, attended checkout, self checkout? I’m a big Wegmans fan, but I usually stop in at Gainesville on the way home from my brother in Charlottesville.

Everything at the moment. Just getting in and out of the garage was an ordeal. And the store is a condensed version of their regular size. The deli didn’t have some of the items we buy regularly and the fresh flowers suck.

We have every single store in Howard County. All within ten mins.

So for me - no driving far for groceries. However, if I had to I would.

Absolutely worth it. Quality of food is so much better than Giant or Safeway.

People shopping at Giant etc are lost not shopping the perimeter — they are buying national brand packaged foods: Kellogg cereal, wonder bread, smuckers jelly, etc. as a rule the bakery and produce is several steps down in quality and selection.

I used to drive over an hour to a Trader Joe’s before they opened one that’s within 30 mins of me. Costco, Wegmans and Whole Foods still 30+ mins away, as is Asian store.
However, closer grocery stores just don’t have what I need. I try to do it once a month.

I drive 15 minutes to the grocery store. I do pass by others but it’s worth it for the price and selection. It’s the only store I go to for food once a week.

^ so then speaking considering that amount of time, for me to the Wegman’s it would take me around 30-35-ish minutes. Worth going but for me, its a lot of time to consume driving.

The big Wegmans is worth driving to. Ours is 30 mins. I go every other month. All our others stores (including a smaller Wegmans) are 5-15 mins and I go over the course of a week to each. It just depends on what we need.

I live within 10 minute drive from the grocery stores I like ( also those even closer but I don’t like). I usually go every other week or longer, going more often just result in buying more, throwing away more, and spending more, plus wasting more time.

I live pretty close to that Wegmans (5 min drive) and still have to pass four other grocery stores to reach it, I think if you're shopping in that Rockville/North Bethesda area, it shouldn't factor in bc of the sheer amount of grocery options
